To Billy and Virginia Kings family,
Virginia will always be in my heart. We used to pick her up for church, sunday school, wednesday nite prayer times, and fellowship with her deaf friends, at Bethel Baptist Church. She always had smile and turly loved God. She always wanted to do the right thing too. Our deaf group has missed her during these years in the nursing home. I will not be attending the funeral because i have severe alergies and lung problems. I am sure Virginia understands and smiles that I remember and love her.
Thank You.##imported-begin##June Crothers##imported-end##

To the family of Bev. Straley,
Thanks for the email telling us of the home-going of your mom. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed by so many.
Bev was one of the few people who kept us informed of what was happening at Lakeside church. We were always happy to see a letter coming from her.
Your mom (and Dad, & the whole family) were always so kind to us. I remember trying to figure out the volleyball round-robin schedule for all those churches every summer, and I would call Bev down at city hall and she would ask me how many teams this year and then come up with the schedule I needed.
I know life was not always easy for your mom, but I also know that she knew the Lord and depended on Him to get her through - and He did.
She is with the Lord now, and we can rejoice with her. She has finished the course that God laid out for her & now she can rest in Him - praise God!
I know she will be waiting for each one of her kids & grandkids to follow her there - by trusting in Jesus as your Savior. Don't disappoint her. She has been praying for you all for so many years.
Carol & I send our warmest greetings. We still miss you all & love you as family.
See you in Heaven if not before.
