Joseph B. Moat's Obituary
Mr. Joseph B. Moat, age 62, passed away early Monday morning, August 23, 2004 at his home. He was born March 18, 1942 to George and Margaret B. (Andersen) Moat in Omer, MI and lived most of his adult life in the Muskegon area. He was the owner of Exotic Tanning System, and Exotic Tan, enjoyed being a pilot and a top-fuel drag racer. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and was a U.S. Marine veteran. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Kelly (Brett) Sikkema of N. Muskegon, Jennifer (Jason) McVoy of Grand Haven, Brian (Laura) Moat of N. Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Jordan, Lexie, Josh, Justice, Alexa, Brenden, and Carsen; his father, George Moat of Omer; his fiancée, Cheryl Lund of N. Muskegon; 3 nephews, Jeff, Mike, and Mark. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; and a sister, Donna Donner. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 31, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr.
