My deepest sympathy on the passing of Jovita to her family. I have many fond memories of Jo, singing with my mom (Caroline), spending time at her house...the pig roast and the luau at the Boat Club. When I think of "Aunt Jo" I can't help but smile. I have such fond memories growing up at Stony Lake, Brookside Dr., & Churchill Dr. When she saw me she would call me "Cin....dy Sue" with her sing songie voice. The best word to describe her is FUN. I first met the Cox family when Jamie and I were in confirmation together, and then when Jim, Jamie and I all went to school together. It was an honor to have known Jo for so many years, first during our times hanging out at the MLBC and working on the Luau, and then later when we all became close friends, and you made me feel like part of your family. You will be greatly missed Jo. My girls called her "grandma Jo" and they didn't know that they weren't her biological grandkids!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. My love to you all.

When I saw Jo recently at the hospital she had a smile on her face and seemed to recognize me. That brought back many memories of the times our families spent together.
