My condolences to all of you. I remember when I was young and Mrs. Bunnell would laugh when I kept choosing the same candy time and again, of course I would be 'forever' looking just to see if there was another kind I might want to try. Peace be with you all.

I grew up in Holton and was very fond of Joyce. She was so kind to all of us kids when we would spend long periods of time figuring out how to spend our allowance on the candy behind the counter! Later I did some babysitting with Paula and got to know the family as very nice people. Paula, I hope knowing others share in your loss helps to soothe your grief. Keeping you close in thought and heart. Althea (Scanlon) Stevens

We of The Ladies Aid will miss Joyce very much, she was a special person and did so much to help others,Peace to you my friend.
Miss Joyce made a very special young man in her grandson Michael. He loved her with all his heart. When I finally met her in person I understood where Michael got his ability to love.
