I worked with Joyce at the service desk for 6 months, she taught me everything about working in a retail store. My kids loved coming into the store and always asked if "Peabody" was working. It eventually came to be if "grandma" was working. To this day our license plate started out with "JP" and my kids would say that's "Peabody" To Joyces' family may you find comfort that she was the best at her job and the caring she showed to all of us during hard times in our own personal life. To all of Joyce's family...hold the memories close in your heart. There will be sad days and then a good thought will come to you and a smile will follow, she is looking down on you right now with a smile too. Prayers to each and everyone of you.💕
Yes, I remember Joyce every time I entered Kmart. My husband, Mr Van, closed up with her there at the front desk every time they both worked the evenings.. She always welcomed people with a smile. .. even my 3 three children.
To the family ... remember the memories while you grieve the loss.
Granny Tanny, you were an amazing woman with a huge heart! While distance may have physically kept us away from each other, we were always so close. I loved getting the mail and having Granny care packages filled with cookies and other goodies. The kids loved getting cards for every holiday, because you always made sure to send each one of them their own card. I'm going to miss calling you and hearing, "mmmmhellllllooooo" when you'd answer the phone. Heaven has definitely gained another beautiful angel! Love you so much!!
