I’ll never forget the times I got to spend around a campfire with Joyce, Marva, my mom, and anyone else who was around and felt like joining us. One night we stayed up laughing until almost midnight (I think Annie and Noelle were there too), and we got in trouble with other campers for being too loud too late. We just laughed more. Joyce and I were the two book worms, and we’d just sit around all day at the campsite or on the beach with our books. And she always loved how much I loved good campsite cooking 😌💚 So grateful I got to feel like I was one of her honorary grandkids.
Joyce was such a loving caring person and always serving others. She was always smiling and loved her family. My children lost their grandma when they were young and Joyce treated them like her own grandchildren. She had plenty of love to go around.
She will be missed but she is rejoicing now❤️🙏🏻
