I remember when I had my first daughter (and second too if I remember right) She was at our house with a welcome home supper! What a wonderful woman she was!

We met Karen years ago when our children were small, she went to the same church as us. She was easy to relate to and we became instant friends. She was honest, truthful, and always lent a listening ear. Through her years of health issues she remained happy and cheerful, never complaining, and now is in a better place free of pain. Her relationship with the Lord we are sure sustained her through these hard years. Our prayers are with the family and know how blessed you were to have a Mom and wife like Karen. We are unable to be with you Sun. as other obligations we need to be at but know our thoughts are with you. We will miss Karen and if a person is in your hearts and minds they are never truly gone, and that is where Karen is with us.

Well I met Karen 23 years ago. We clicked instantly. We had kids around the same age. We became close friends and our two family's were soon close and spent alot of time together. From Her and I going with each other to our prospective Dr. appointments to attending the same church, going on vacations together, Family Camp in Gaylord, to spending Holidays together. We understood each other with an unspoken thought at times. She was my Dearest and Closest Friend. She was Crazy, loved life, she was so fun, and that laugh of hers was so contagious! She was sick alot during the years, but she never complained! God gave her incredible strength! My love, Memories, thoughts and Prayers go out to Paul, her Children; Eric, Becky, Kristen and Charlie and the rest of Her Family. Keep Her Memory alive!

Dear family- I remember Karen as one of the bravest and kindest people I know. Although she was an older cousin, I remember her great joy in being a Mom...my Mom, (Karen's Aunt Catherine) had many pictures of Eric, Becky, Kristen and Charlie (through the years) and so many of my memories involve her as your Mom. I also remember her great love for the rest of her family...her parents, her sisters and her big brother...and how hard it was for her to say goodbye to each of them. When I saw her last (at Aunt Charlotte's memorial when she actually brought the ashes of her parents) she was so happy to be spending time with Paul. I was so thankful she was so happy in these past few months of her life. Although I also remember the MANY physical trials Karen went through, I NEVER remember her complaining...her upbeat, positive attitude and her faith in God shone through each conversation. She truly is an inspiration to all of us, and I know would want us to live as she did...faithfully carrying on until we all finish our race on this Earth.
