Karen Sue Vander Molen's Obituary
Karen Sue (Pippel) (Taylor) Vander Molen, age 60, of Spring Lake passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Blodgett Hospital. She was born September 7, 1952, in Grand Haven to Melvin and Marjorie (Thomas) Vander Wall.
She was a member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church and enjoyed traveling, line dancing, camping, kayaking, and going to casinos.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Vander Molen; 2 daughters, Rebecca (David) Thomas of Port St. Lucie, FL and Kristen (Derrick) Johnson of Milton, W. Virginia; 2 sons, Eric (Heather) Pippel of Fremont, and Charles Taylor of White Cloud; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Cheryl Ward and Robyn Baxter; and 2 brothers, Charles Vander Wall and Melvin Vander Wall, Jr.
A Celebration of Life for Karen will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating; with a luncheon immediately following. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery, to be announced at a later date.
