We often talked about gardening, growing vegetables and artwork and will always have fond memories of the few times we would bodysurf with Kathleen at the local beach. Kathleen and I became friends from work, close to 40 years ago. After I moved on, our friendship was sustained through watching and talking about our children, and laughing about struggles and joys. Kathleen was a special friend and I'll miss our conversations.
