I usually saw Kay twice a week when I worked at the youth detention center. I always enjoyed talking with her. She once loaned me some letters written during the Civil War by a soldier relative of hers. I considered them very valuable, but she didn't hesitate to let me take them home to read. Rest in peace Kay.
