Kay M. Mayo's Obituary
Kay M. Mayo, age 68, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 16, 2013 in Muskegon. She was born April 20, 1945 to Frederick J. and Mercedes L. (Brouhard) Mayo, Sr. in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Most recently Kay had been employed as an executive secretary for the Muskegon Juvenile Detention Center, and prior to that, worked at Muskegon Bank and Trust for 25 years. She found delight in the “youngsters” in our family. She loved them all. SURVIVORS include 1 brother, Fredrick “Jim” (Linda) Mayo, Jr. of Farmington Hills; niece, Trisha Mayo; nephew, James Mayo; grand-niece, Latia (Jordan) Willis; grand-nephews, Micah (Summer) Clanton, Eric Clanton; 2 great-grand-nephews, JJ(Jordan) and Jhalil Willis; close friends, Judy Nauta, Matt Kaley ,James Hekathorn. A memorial service for Kay will be held at the Jibson Immanuel Baptist Church in Ravenna, 8007 Evanston Ave. (corner of Evanston and Sullivan) on Saturday, June 15 at 1:00 PM.
