Kelsey Marie Sieberg (Gauthier)'s Obituary
Kelsey Marie Sieberg (Gauthier) of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Kelsey was born to her loving parents, Joel and Kathleen Gauthier, on May 16, 1985. She was a native of Muskegon, MI and its water-based lifestyle, this would instill a deep love of boating and everything water-based. Kelsey graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School with honors and went on to earn her associate degree. Boats, beaches, and bonfires; Kelsey was the life of the party and any social situation she was put in. She would always have a smile on her face as she was a lover of every journey on her path. Kelsey was the most giving person, always there for whomever needed anything, big or small. Spending time with her family and putting her toes in the sand were her most treasured past time. Kelsey was bold, courageous and adventurous; this motivated her to join the United States Navy. Kelsey proudly served 13 years in the US Navy as an Information Systems Technician, where she earned the rank of Petty Officer First Class and awarded medals including the Navy Air Warfare Qualification, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2), Navy “E” Ribbon, Navy Good Conduct Medal (4), GWOT Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist Insignia. Kelsey was loyal and always willing to sacrifice for her family. Kelsey is survived by her husband Shawn Sieberg; father, Joel Gauthier, mother, Kathleen Gauthier; their children Dagan Meyers, Connor Sieberg, Charlotte Sieberg; and stepson, Luke Sieberg. Her two siblings Kara Gauthier Borst, AJ Gauthier; grandmothers, Ruth Walters and Evelyn Knack; along with her uncountable other family and friends. A CELEBRATION of LIFE for Kelsey will be 2 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 1-2 PM.
