So sorry for your loss Sue, Brad, and Betsy. I know he and my dad (Denny Copeland) are together again hunting, fishing and having a great time.

Our sympathy goes out to Sue and her children for your loss of Ken. Prayers for all of you. Mike and Arlene Maxfield.

Kenny was my brother Denny;s best friend ever since Rogers High school. When I lost my brother in 1997 I also lost seeing Kenny every year at hunting camp up here in Steuben Michigan, where we all got together every November 15. After Denny past I asked Ken to keep coming but he said he just couldn't. He said it was just to painful to go there again without his best friend, besides, he said he couldn't drive himself across the bridge. Sue, it was always a treat to find out what kind of joke you would pack in Kenny's suitcase. A crutch for going to the bathroom, a garter strap across his scope, or underwear with frill across the bottoms. I still have them all up here as well as all the memories of my dad, Denny, and Kenny, laughter, high school tales, hunting stories, getting to a phone before the football games, and the carpeting Ken installed with a bad hangover, I have never seen anyone sweat so much! He truly was a great guy! As I write this I am saying I am sorry for not being able to be in attendance for Ken service tomorrow as I just was informed of his passing and am scheduled for work on Wednesday. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Also let everyone know that the Copeland's cherished Kenny as one of the family. One thing is for sure, those guys are together again, and look out heaven, they know how to have a good time!
Remembering our Saturday night dinners together with such great friends.
Good conversation, Much laughter, and Many stories shared.
We are blessed to have shared these precious memories together.
Love you Kenny

While we are heart-broken, we are so grateful the pain and suffering is over. We will always remember the perpetual "ribbing" of Jackson, the singing of favorite songs with Jan and most of all, his never-ending grin. We love you, Kenny, and will miss you so much. Rest peacefully, dear friend.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Ken.. Jim spent 6 years in the National Guards with Ken, played lots of cards and bowling as well. And oh how Jayne remembers the visits to your house to get the latest egg ornaments. Ken was a great ball player to and just a kind individual. We pray for your families healing as you go through this difficult time.
Love, Jim and Jayne Thome, Sparta.
