Dear Kevin,
Only the Good Die young … so goes the song. These words come in hard when confronted with the unintentional departing of a young loved person. It is a too incomprehensible and paralyzing event for emotions to kick in. Even the question “Why” seems artificial.
Unforeseeable that you would be the first of our family generation to leave the earthly life. An abundance of happy moments together will survive. Remember the softball games, the breakfasts, pizza, BBQ’s, and the many happy family times cooling off in your pool. Playing with your two beautiful children, blowing bubbles. It is such a warm feeling to see how much you loved the children and, as a matter of predestined fact, your wife Kristi. She chose you and you chose her. That is why we could enjoy your smile, wit, and your strong and warm hug.
Across the ocean, you will always be with us in our hearts.
