Sharri & family,
I met you at Res Life Muskegon years ago. May the love of Jesus give you strength in this time of sorrow. And may the Lord's presence be your joy. And knowing that one day you'll see him again, be your peace. Kevin was one who liked to dance like King David. He carried the cross as Jesus, in one of the dances we did at Res Life. And now he is in Jesus's arms.

Kevin was a second father to my son Daniel,doing all the outdoor things(fishing,etc.) that I never helped Dan experience when he was younger. Kevin's positive Christian witness on Dan, Stephanie and Landen was extraordinary and for that I loved him. The many ways that God directed Kevin's life will bear fruit for years and years to come. He was a true example of one who loves Jesus and it showed in his talk and actions. I am blessed to have known him and been taught by him in his class on Sundays. I have nothing but wonderful memories and great stories about our time growing up. Our time we had was the best time of my youth, playing ball, hunting, fishing and listening to the tigers on the radio on warm summer nights. Jay, and the entire Schuitema family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Kevin. What a really neat guy. I'll never forget the times he took us swimming at Twin Lake, riding in his Mustang to the auction in Ravenna, and hanging out in his garage listening to his stories as he worked on bikes.
