I just found out about kirks death. I am sorry for the family I remember hanging with him and shelli we had so much fun. Kurt and I were good friends then. RIP Kirk. Fly with the angels.
I'm Linda Douglas' mom and we are so sorry that Kirk has passed away. I remember her introducing me to you, twins, when you were in your teens. I know he will be missed, especially by you Kurt. May God wrap his arms around both of you at this time. Rosa Bice

The Thornton Family
To the family,
My deepest sympathies. Even though my family moved away from Fruitport 30 years ago, when someone asks me to this day about my best friends in life, I always considered Kirk & Kurt as my best friends in those early elementary years. We were in the same class at Faith Christian School. I was closer to Kirk because he was on my soccer team at recess every day and because in 3rd grade we became "blood brothers" one day by both pricking our index fingers and then shaking hands. That's one of my best memories in those days as a kid!
I thank God for that time of friendship as brief as it was. My heart hurts for his daughters, Kurt, and the whole family. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May you remember the good times and may this time be a testimony to others for God's honor and glory.
Sincerely,
Jeff Rohm
