L. Vivian Bomgaars' Obituary
Mrs. L. Vivian Bomgaars, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born on April 22, 1920 in Shelby, MI to Warren and Pearl (Bennett) Scholl. Mrs. Bomgaars was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Muskegon, and volunteered for over 20 years at the American Red Cross and Goodwill. She was a cook for more than 20 years at DeBoer Nursing Home. She loved to bake, especially birthday cakes for family and friends, and spend time with her family. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Gwen and Jan; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; son, Marcus; and 4 brothers. A Memorial Service will be held 4PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 3-4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vivian’s name may be given to First Presbyterian Church (2577 Wickham Dr. Muskegon 49441). Share memories with the family online at www.sytsemafh.com.
