Larry was my middle school football coach at North Shore J.H. in 1970-71 and my 7th grade math teacher. Larry was a class act and a great teacher who got the most out of his students. I would see Larry over the years occasionally at the Vikings and I would always try to find a few minutes to chat with him. I'll keep Larry and his family in my thoughts. Larry - Mister Medema - was my football coach as North Shores Junior High in 1970. He was tough but fair. He got a lot of work and loyalty out of the kids. Deepest condolences to Larry's family and friends. I was a student of Larry's at Mona Shores Middle School. He was one of my favorite teachers and he always had a knack for making math class much more fun and interesting. He will most definitely be missed.
