Larry was such a dear and loving friend of our family. We will always cherish the memories of our visits to the house. Joy and warmth were always present. And the hugs from Larry, my gosh, they were the most enduring human embraces you could imagine. We miss him very much, but we know his love and grace live on with his wonderful family.

Larry was my boss and friend atPort City Sign. He was the most caring and compassionate person I have known. I was so sad to see his business dream. End. He would give you the shirt off his back or anything else you might need. He would come in and talk to me about how his day went and then make sure to ask how my day went and if their was anything he could do to help. He was everyone's friend and his heart was. Out to all. I did plan on coming to the service but I am just so sadden to say I have been sick all week with flu and congestion, and I. Certainly do not want to give to anyone else. So my love and prayers I am giving for LeAnn, and Lisa, and the rest of the family. My love. To all, and you are in my prayers. My memories of Larry take me back to Viet Nam. I remember when I was transferred from NaTrang to Plakieu. Larry some how knew when I would arrive and was waiting on the front deck of the PX, over looking the flight line. As soon as disembarked I could see him waving his arms. That was a very good day for two homesick troops in a war zone. We became very close friends the remaining nine months of our tour. Before returning we took a R & R week in Japan together. It was one of the best vacations I have had and can remember every day of it. You will be missed and never forgotten my friend.
Bob and I knew Larry through our good friends Lisa and Lynn. Our sympathy to the whole family on their loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Rest in peace dear man your legacy lives on through your family!! All our love!

In the twenty plus years that I knew Larry I always saw a caring and kind man. From the day he joined the Northside Lions Club he made a great impact on our effectiveness. His passing is a great loss to all mankind.

It was a pleasure to get to know Larry as he provided signage and ongoing service for Lake Welding Supply Company for many years. He exhibited a servant's heart as he always sought to provide us--and I am sure--all his customers with the tools to advertise their businesses, but especially support after the sale. I will never forget when he came out to personally relamp our message center on Seaway Drive--completing the job after nearly four hours in windy, subfreezing temperatures. You could tell he took pride in his company and support for his customers. Our condolences to your family in your loss.
