So very sorry to hear about Larry's passing.
Larry was a friend from Diana St. he was at 105 and we were from 38 . So many fond memories of those days riding his tandem bike and his Honda 90 and his old Rambler and his Plymouth Duster and playing football in Welch's side yard and hanging out at the Bethany parish house and Mr Quick's and all the time he was the voice of reason for our group of kids. Sometimes we wouldn't listen to him and of course we would get in trouble. He was a very good friend and was always happy to see you even if it had been years in between. Larry you made this world a better place and you will be sadly missed. Your friend . Tom Byrnes P.S You used to make the best chocolate milk ! also your 2 dogs growin up Bo and the little chihuaha who always sat by the register to stay warm Til we meet again my good friend.
Sandy and Dan,
Sorry to hear of the passing of Larry.
Remember all the memories you have of him.
Thinking of You!
Bonnie we was shocked when we read of Larry passing.
Larry and Ed go way back working at V&B together, I remember meeting
you and Larry at their Christmas party, painting the wheels on Larry's
Mustang on my Prom night(Ed & I still talk about it every year), and all
the years we took care of your vehicles.
Larry said he was our customer the longest and he was.
Larry was a very caring man and thought of others,he'll be greatly
missed by everybody who know him.
Take Care Bonnie!
Ed and Karen Gartland
Larry will definitely be missed. He was such a friend and a "brother" to me. In the 30+ years that I have known him was indeed a true friendship. He was so giving of himself when I lost my husband he and his wife Bonnie were a godsend to me. He never thought of himself first he always thought of others. Such a giving person and I surely was blessed to have known him. He is in Heaven now where we will sometime meet again.
