Larry served on my Muskegon Sportfishing Board for over 10 years. He was very instrumental in making the waters of Muskegon County the fishery they are today. Larry always gave of his time and knowledge for the betterment of fisherman from all walks of life. God has gained one hell of a fishing partner. Sorry to hear of Larrys passing.Known Larry since 1973 and he was the greatest friend to have.Larry sure helped me in many ways over the years & he was always available.If I needed parts he would sell em ,if he didnt have what was needed he knew where i could get them;he shared ideas and advice & was an excellent trouble shooter. Grandpa was the best person I have ever known. I am so blessed to know such a wonderful man, gramps had such a warm heart. I thank you gramps for all the wonderful memories that you gave to me. Carter will always remember you, you will always have a special place in my heart as well and I know that you will watch over this family. I made you a promise that I will take good care of grandma...and i meant every word, she is also very special to me. I can only hope and pray that someday I will have a great marriage like you and grams had. It is so unfair that you were taken away from us but I know in my heart that god has something so wonderful in store for you...I love so much. I love you so much papa. Judy, Cindy, Kelly and Penny, we are so sorry for your loss, it is hard to imagine so many years have gone by since our entire families were up-north every weekend having a ball without a care in the world. My how life changes. Larry was always such a character. Boy oh boy if only we could have those days back, how wonderful would that be? We will always have the memories of up-north, of Judy and Larry and you girls and how fun was that river?
