Larry S. Allison's Obituary
Mr. Larry S. Allison, age 69, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at home. He was born November 28, 1939 in White Cloud, MI to Ford and Ruth (Totten) Allison and resided in the area all of his life. Larry was the owner of Larry’s Automotive for 28 years, before retiring in 1995. Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman, sports lover and vintage car collector. He was a professional walleye fisherman, owning his own charter service, was an original board member of Muskegon Sportsfishing Association and a lifetime member of the West Michigan Street Rod Association. On December 28, 1957 he married the former Judy Mudget, and she survives him along with 3 daughters, Cindy (Robert) Goddard of Bay City, MI, Kelly (fiancé, Bill Wright) Osborn of Perrysburg, OH, and Penny (Mel) Latsch of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren, Allison (Brian) Baker, Austin Debniak, Jeffrey (Julianne) Osborn, Jr., Jonathan and Joshua Osborn, Misty, Rachel, Matthew and Melodey Latsch; 4 great grandchildren, Ava Marie Baker, Carter Gregor, Clayton Osborn and Braylen Burrel; 1 brother, Roger (Nancy) Allison of Muskegon; and ex son-in-law, Jeff Osborn. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Friday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Larry Terlouw officiating. VISITATION with Larry’s family will be 6-8PM Thursday. Burial will take place in Croton Cemetery.
