Hey grandpa lawrence i love u for everything you stand for. As a father,husband, friend,just a all around anazing person. I remember the first time i meet you, you said well who is this beautiful woman i said hi grandpa its me shameka you said are you married i said yes we hugged and laughed and william said hey old sailor you cant have her she mines your response was so amazing you said well since is ur wife ill let u slide lol i miss you so much and i will always love you. I have many great memories of my Grandpa Kuipers. But the one that stands out the most at this very moment is Grandpa at my brother Dave's highschool basketball games. He would yell at those refs.... and Grandma would just hide as though she didn't know that man. All the guys on the team adopted him as a team Grandpa. Maybe you had to be there, but the memory brings a smile to my face. Love you and miss you Grandpa!

You grumpy old navy guy, there has never been a day where when i came home to michigan did i not enjoy, You and grandma have always made so dam fun to be home just to sit and yell at each other about the two branches of the service, Now that your gone, wait your never gone cause your gonna be right there with me every step of the way through my journeies, I enlisted into the Army back in 99 to proudly stand by yours and dad side to carry on the military in our crazy family. when you met shameka she loved you, she always will, and i know that she is very proud and honored to have met you and to have known you thank you for the love, happniess, crazyness, teaching me to speed in a car, and getting that door bell to ding finally.
