Lawrence Leroy McFail's Obituary
Mr. Lawrence Leroy “Larry” McFail, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Muskegon. He was born in Henry County, Illinois on March 30, 1931 to Harlan and Mary Ann (Pemberton) McFail. Larry was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was employed by Herman Cheverolet as a mechanic for 15 years. He was also the owner and operator of Larrys Taxidermy for 30 years. Larry enjoyed fishing, repairing things, and working around his property. Larry is survived by his wife, Yvonne “Bonnie” (Eastling) McFail; three children, Dennis (Melissa) McFail, Terry McFail, and Lisa Robidoux; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, April McFail; and siblings, Dorothy McAllister, Norman McFail, and Harlan McFail.
