My condolences to Leona's family. She was a great volunteer for our senior center for many years. My memories of her include the many times she and Liz Krentz were together and the good times they had. Leona was a very special lady.

My deepest condolences to Mrs Balentine's family. She was a long time neighbor and friend to my late grandmother, Liz Krentz. They shared a friendship for many years. I also had the pleasure of visiting your mother through Visiting Nurses for a short period of time and I always looked forward to seeing her. She helped me through a very hard time when my grandmother passed away, offering kind words, she touched my heart.
May she rest in peace now. Perhaps she and Liz are back together as good friends again!

I had the pleasure of seeing Leona almost every day, because I am a resident support at Seminole Shores. She was like a grandmother to me.She told me about her sons and all the wood carvings on her wall in her apartment. She was very proud of them.I remember her telling me that when I die this person wants this one.So I hope who every gets the wood carvers they will think of her because that is what she wanted.I know I will each and every day.
