Dave & Sharon,
Mom and I just have to say Leroy was always there after dad had his stroke your dad would come and visit him and mom at the rehab facility and even after dad passed he would come to the house and visit mom. Once I happened to be there and he was telling us how he had trouble remembering how to get to the house and took the long way by accident but that didn't stop him. He was a joy to be around and I remember he got me some giant band aids for my first car a 1964 Chevrolet Biscayne to cover the MI cancer rust holes in the doors .... who would do that for a teenager ... your dad ... it was the only band aid car in Lake Odessa ... maybe even Ionia County ... Leroy was fun. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time and hold very dear to all the great wonderful memories camping in MI and travelling to FL ... great times !

Dave and Sharon. We sense the loss of Uncle LeRoy, a great dad to you and a great uncle and stand in dad for me after my dad died many years ago. I remember all the fun times, Dave, the trouble we constantly got in when together (all good fun, not real trouble) and the looks we always got from Ruth, Edith, Leota, and off course Uncle LeRoy and Uncle Leslie. We were always called "you boys". Uncle LeRoy taught us all to not take the down turns in life personally, and persevere. After your mom died, and with his stroke, the things he loved to do were so much harder or downright impossible, but yet he was always in a good mood and sitting at the table when I would drop by to check in. His memory will always bring a smile and a warm thought.
