Rev. Leslie K. Lew's Obituary
Rev. Leslie K. Lew, age 57, went to be with his heavenly father, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home in Muskegon. He was born on May 6, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York to Ben-Zion David Lew and Esther (Chenkin) Lew. On the 25th of February 1984, he married the former Elissa Love in Detroit. He received his Master’s degree in Christian Ministry and was the current Pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church. Pastor Leslie was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity. He was an avid lover of choral music and enjoyed Christmas, Frankenmuth, and extreme weather documentaries, but foremost was always the time spent with his family. SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 33 years, Elissa; children, Juliana Rachel Love Lew, Ross Lew; sister, Barbara Lew (Adrian) Parrado; niece, Gretchen and nephews, Brandon and Shawn. Pastor Lew was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 2250 Denmark Ave. VISITATION with family will be 10-11 AM at church prior to the Memorial service.
