We knew Lester because of his son John. The few times we met was alway a interesting and informative time. I know the deep feelings John had for his father and the love of his grandchildrens had for him. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.##imported-begin##CHRISTI AND ROBERT RETTINHOUSE##imported-end##
"Lester was a friend who'll I'll never forget." "He was and still is one of those rare persons who adds to everyone's life." "As a Hospice volunteer and as a friend I have no doubt that we'll meet again on the other side of the river in heaven."
I'll be there Thursday between 6-8p.m. and for the funeral on Wednesday. "God Bless."##imported-begin##Dan Walton##imported-end##
As a Pineboy growing up, if they ever really grow up, I always felt Les' warmth and caring for all of us. Like other Pine-dads I am sure he shook his head plenty of times at our antics and behavior but was always supportive and welcoming. I will always admire his energy and sense of adventure as well as his dedication to his family and their home. When we last visited, he was interested in our children and their current status as he always was. He will be missed by those of us that had the chance to get to now him. The orayers of my family are with his.##imported-begin##Doug Wood##imported-end##
