When we lived in the Grand Haven area, we had the pleasure of knowing Leta. We attended the United Methodist Church of the Dunes and one Sunday we happened to sit in front of Leta. After that we became friends! Each Sunday she would ask about family. We would like to extend out deepest sympathy to Leta's family.
So enjoyed going to dinner with her and helping her weed her garden

We will always have such great memories of the neighborhood while we were growing up! So many good times together! Your mom was always so welcoming at your door and provided lots of yummy treats! In later years I remember how much your mom enjoyed coming over and going for a swim on the really hot days. She was a very special person, and I know you will dearly miss her! Thinking of all of you!

Many a summer afternoon, as you and I chatted outside in the backyard catching some sun, your mom was in the kitchen whipping up some treats along with cold lemonade for us to enjoy. I will always remember her beautiful smile and that little twinkle in her eyes as she greeted me when I came through the door of your home on Oakes. May you find peace in the memories you have and comfort knowing that your parents are together again.

Lee was my mother-in-law as I was married to her son David for 14 years and we blessed her with 2 grandchildren DJ and Jaime. DJ and his wife continued blessing her with two great grandchildren. I learned so much from her over the years. Our two families often got together for birthday celebrations, anniversaries and grilling out for Coast Guard Festival. A lot of great food was savored over the years courtesy of Lee’s talent in the kitchen! She loved having the grandkids spend weekends with them and spoil them rotten. She was a a fantastic mother-in-law and will be greatly missed in my heart.
