It’s the thinking back that really gets me grams, the memories you gave me are priceless…. summers we spent at the cottage where we were all together. Every single holiday we spent eating, drinking your punch and playing games. You always wrapped gifts beautifully and when we were kids you’d tape a bunch of candy to the top of the package. Every year for my birthday you gave me a glass doll and I looked the most forward to seeing how beautiful she was. You always called me Rebecca and sweetheart and were the nicest person I ever knew. You had the hardest and tightest hugs and you’d always say “Ohhh I love you sweetheart!” You introduced me to church and explained to me that you and the Lord were always with me and would love me unconditionally. You always showed up to everything and for everyone because you loved your family so very much. Thank you for everything you taught me and instilled in me grams, I am so grateful to come from such a long line of strong women. I know you’re in heaven now and finally get to see your daughter. Please tell her how much I miss her and love her! I know you both have joined hands and are the most beautiful angels up there.
I will try hard to pass along everything I learned from you… honesty, respect, kindness, and empathy. I love you and will miss you so much.
