Linda Lee Keech's Obituary
Linda Lee Keech, age 82, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. She was born on October 2, 1938, to Frank and Alvena (Peterman) Boling in Washington, D.C. Linda moved to Vicksburg, MI at a young age and went on to graduate from Vicksburg High School. Linda married Gerald Keech on January 22, 1959, and together they enjoyed 54 years of travel and adventure before his passing in July of 2013. Jerry and Linda’s work eventually took them to Niles, MI and while in Niles she volunteered with many local civic groups. She worked as an insurance agent for AAA for 30 years until her retirement in 2001. Linda was a lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers, she enjoyed taking trips to the casino, and loved walking her dog, Stella. Linda is survived by her children, Kelli (Dan) Buckley, Kristi (Don) Nagengast, Jerri (Mick) Ellington, Jeff (Evelyn) Keech; grandchildren, Nicole, Nathan, Karl (Amanda), Lynn (Todd), Samantha (Jessie), Hannah, Drew, Micah; seven great-grandchildren, brother, Edward (Mary) Boling; sister-in-law, Molly Boling; special friend Harold Phinney; and faithful companion, Stella. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steve Boling. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Linda will take place on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM at The Walburn Chapel, The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. Muskegon, MI 49441, with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Sanctuary at the Oaks for making Linda feel at home for her final years.
