Mrs. Linda Kelly's Obituary
Mrs. Linda Mason Kelly, age 68, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. She was born March 10, 1945 in Gary, IN to David and Margaret (Kadel) Mason. On June 10, 1967 she married Dr. C. James Kelly in Gary, IN and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2008. Linda was active in the community. She was a long-time member of the Muskegon County Medical Society Auxiliary and of P.E.O. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels and with the PTA. She served on the Mona Shores School Board for more than 20 years, most recently as President. SURVIVORS include her daughters, Melissa (Tim) Davies, Maggie (Scott) Patton both of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren, Conner and Madison Patton, Grace and Jillian Davies; and her mother, Margaret Mason of Norton Shores. She was also preceded in death by her father, David Mason. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 30, 2013 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Jerry Hagans officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-5 PM today (Sunday). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Harbor Hospice.
