Linda Lee Cone's Obituary
Linda L. Cone, age 62, passed away Tuesday October 27, 2009 in Muskegon. She was born on September 5, 1947 in Muskegon to Otto and Lucille (Aardema) Hajek, and resided in the area most of her life. Linda was a wonderful party planner and floral arranger, but most of all loved spending time with her family especially her granddaughters. She worked for almost 20 years at the Muskegon Chronicle, most recently in the Editorial Department. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Jennifer (Brian) Cleveland and their daughters, Katja and Annika, and David Cone both of Fruitport; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Lucille. SERVICES will be 4:30 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Scott Church officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 3:30-4:30 PM. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
