Remembering a lady who was a great friend to my mother, Wilma Bond, my father, Bill and to our whole family. Especially appreciate all her assistance with my parents 50th wedding anniversary and with Wilma's 80th birthday celebration at Doo Drop. Her backyard parties and her trips to see Broadway shows brought a lot of joy into many, many people's lives. We love you, Lorrie. Rest in Peace.
We had the pleasure of working with Lorrie at Doo Drop for many years, It was a joy and a honor to be around Her. Our condolences to Her children. She will be missed very much. Dick & Sandy Ross

I have fond memories of when our families lived across the street from each other on Kampenga St. in east Muskegon. Lorrie and my sister Pam were very good friends. Louis would be home on leave from the service at Christmas time and he would bring Lorrie across the street so she and Pam could exchange gifts. He was a very nice man. I also remember Jo, Linna and Brad. Lorrie was a very lovely person and was loved by many people. I will miss not seeing her occasionally around town and reminiscing. My sympathy to Lorrie's family. I'll always remember going down to Chicago as a kid to watch the Cubs with my dad and "Lorrie O." Lorrie was such a special soul, who brought so much wonderful joy to this world. Rest in peace Lorrie.
We were sadden to hear about the passing of Lorrie (Mrs. Ornelas). We spent many good times with her, and enjoyed visiting and shopping in her dress shop. We enjoyed many trips to Chicago with her. She was a wonderful caterer and I enjoyed having her cater my graduation party years ago. We are thinking of Nikki, Tony and Annette during this difficult time and we are sending you our thoughts and prayers. Love, the Edlunds. Sally, Tony and Gina.
Wow, it has been so many years since I have seen any of the Ornelas family but still feel compelled to create a post. I remember as a Big Red Band member how much time Mrs. Ornelas donated as a Big Red band parent. She was very involved. She was fun and had a beautiful smile but yet there was something about her that told you she also meant business. :) A great combination for dealing with a bunch of kids. After graduation she catered the food at my wedding and everyone was so complimentary of her services. She did so many things with class. My prayers to the family.
