Louise, my sister...She was instrumental in my "growing-up" years and taught me much about "girlie" things like using make-up, how to dress, and to be a lady (not quite sure I mastered this last one). She encouraged me to be outgoing and try new things. I became interested in square dancing due to her persuasion. She had a great laugh...I can hear it even now. I remember being taught how to clean house...and now I am OCD! That deserves as "thank you" I guess. She supported me though some tough times and I will be forever grateful for that. She was someone who wasn't afraid to state her opinion and I can remember her doing so quite freely with me many, many times. She and I shared an interest in poetry. We both wrote and she was forever encouraging me to publish. I have her last offering and will treasure it always. Being 17 years older than me, she was instantly "another mother" as was my other sister, Dot. I was blessed to have three loving women be a mother to me and teach me what a great responsibility being a woman is. I learned much from each of them. I loved Louise and will miss her being in my life. I am a better person because of her.
