We lost a friend this week. Lowell had fought MS for years only to have cancer take him. Lowell attacked life with God in one hand and his wife in the other hand. Anyone he came in touch with were blessed and my family was the most blessed. September 11 is remembered as the day of heroes and it is fitting that we remember you on this day. Aunt Jean, I can't tell you how many times we have talked about and used Uncle Lowell as such a wonderful mentor and example of strength in adversity. These conversations were not just with family but friends who were facing challenges as well. Yours and Uncle Lowell's friendship and love to mom and dad have meant the world to all of us. We will miss Uncle Lowell.
