He was a very special brother in law, one who was always there for me as a nephew and family member, as well as a loving and caring husband and godly father to his sons. He was one who went out of his way for my mother and each one in the family as well as providing a strong example of faith and godliness within his church and community. Mr.Norton was a very visible and active neighbor in the Marquette neighborhood. He daily visited with neighbors while walking his dog.He was
a member and served as treasurer of the Marquette Neighborhood Association.
He and his wife remained true to the area.They were one of the first neigh-

Our sympathy goes out to Virginia & Jim & Dave's families. Lyle will always be remembered as a Cadet Counselor with First & Immanuel Club. He was a knowledgable out doors person & always was there for the week long camp outs. We used to meet Lyle & Virginia on Friday nights at Russ's for desert. As a child I grew up across the street from "The Norton's" house on East Forest in Muskegon. I remember a lot of good times at his house from playing basketball in the driveway, playing darts in the basement and going to the lake with them.
One thing I will always remember was the reading of the Bible and the prayers at the meal table. Lyle loved the Lord and it showed!
I got to visit with Lyle while he was at Deboer's and to renew a friendship as well as a chance to get caught up on the family. My wife who works at Deboer served him his meals and says "he will be missed."##imported-begin##Tom & Judy Rasey##imported-end##
