I work at JSJ and get to know Lynne there. She was always gracious and kind. At her suggestion, I became JSJ's representative on the board at Call 211 after Carol McFall retired from that board. I would come back from board meetings and Lynne would be eager to know how it was going. She had a heart of gold for her community and for the plight of others. She was a big part of starting and sustaining 211 service in Ottawa County and continued to stay interested and concerned when they merged with Muskegon's 211to become a more effective and larger organization. We had a 211 board meeting this past Friday. I felt so sad coming back to work knowing Lynne was no longer there for me to share "how it was going" at 211. I will miss dear, sweet, caring Lynne at work. I am grateful for the opportunity to know her and see how she cared for her community.
