Oh Gwen, Carl Scott's and I were just talking about Kindergarten at Lincoln school at the Station just last night, and spoke of Mrs. Wyn and Mrs. Bean!! They were the best anyone could ever have!!! We were blessed! I even remember walking to her house.
I have so many wonderful memories of Margaret. I can't count them all. I especially loved the way she sent me a birthday card on every birthday of mine. She always sent me a newsletter at every holiday with a book mark or a word of encouragement included. Rex and Margaret came to my wedding. They became friends to my grandma, Barbara Young, at Clark Retirement, and they attended my grandma's funeral in 2006. I brought my two children a few times to visit Rex and Margaret before her memory started to deteriorate. She was such a good friend to me. She gave me books from her piano library and I have used those books over and over again. I am very grateful to have known her and am grateful that I can stay in touch with her daughter, Gwen, who is like a sister to me. I used to send Margaret a Mother's day card every year. I love you, Margaret. Rest in peace, and say hello to Rex and my grandma for me.
