I remember Margaret as a young girl. I know I went to school with a Hicks
I am sorry for your loss
I loved our many annual trips to Michigan to visit Grandma while growing up. She always looked so beautiful and had cookies on a plate when we first arrived ... her Melting Moments were one of my favorites. She usually always made sure we had Smelt while vising which I loved. I also remember many enjoyable shopping trips with Grandma. She was always so sweet and hospitable ... everything a Grandma should be!
I met Margaret while she was in the nursing facility where my brother was staying at time. Such a beautiful woman. I was saddened by her passing. My condolences to her family and friends.
I have known and loved Margaret for many years. I am sure she is so happy to be spending Christmas with the love of her life. She was such a sweet lady. Sympathy to the family. Love you. Marsha Allen
I fondly remember the smell and taste of Melting Moment Cookies she always had at the ready when we came to visit. They were often served to us on her porch with a cold glass of milk. I also loved going through her large collection of jewelry and remember when I was five, getting her to convince my mom to let me get my ears pierced (which she successfully did) so I could look "pretty" like her. <3
