Marie was a very sweet and gracious lady. Our special memory of her will always be her kindness and concern regarding our sister, Kay, while Marie lived at Christian Care these past few months. While Kay could not really respond to Marie, we shared lots of hugs and Marie was so bright and perky and she always wanted to know if Kay was "getting better". I know the staff there was fond of her and she even had a special friend there with whom she spent many enjoyable times. While we all regret her unexpected trip to heaven, but know God welcomed her into His arms along with those who were waiting.

Rest in peace, sweet and pretty lady.

Grandma I'm glad you got to see all of your family here and in Heaven on Christmas. I can't believe we will never spend another Sunday with you. I've always thought you were an awesome grandma but I never knew how much I could love you until I saw how much you loved my baby. From the time he was born you were truly one of his favorite people. I will never let him forget his GG. And we will both remember and love you forever.
P.S. Maybe you could send good vibes my way next time I attempt to make your cinnamon bread. I know mine will never match your's but I haven't been able to come close so in any attempt so far;)

Marie gave me a warm welcome into the family when Howard and I married 38 years ago. She was gracious generious and kind. A real classy lady and great sister in law.
