Marie A. Kuchar's Obituary
Marie Anne Kuchar
April 12, 1938 – July 23, 2025
Muskegon, MI – Marie A Kuchar, 87, of Montrose, Saginaw, Denver, and Muskegon took that great highway to a new adventure on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
Marie was born April 12, 1938, in Hamtramck, MI, to Frank and Mary (Machala) Kuchar. She grew up on the family farm in Maple Grove township along with her seven siblings where she relished being a big sister to them all. She loved her family and frequently recounted stories of their life on the farm.
Marie graduated from New Lothrop Saint Michael High School in 1957. She was a trailblazer for her time, with a long, varied career working in a variety of roles with the Arthur Murray Dance Studios, J.L. Hudson Co., Jacobson’s, and Saginaw Malleable Iron. After her retirement from General Motors, she made the move from Michigan to Denver, Colorado to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter and worked at the Cody Dental Group from 1999 – 2001 where she formed lasting friendships.
In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, volunteering, reading, watching sports, movies and history shows, soup, spending time with family and friends, and going on drives to
explore her surroundings.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bryant, granddaughter, Chloe Prusiewicz, siblings Frank Kuchar of Fort Meyers, FL, Josephine (David) Henige of Freeland, MI, Margaret Nietling of Chesaning, MI, Anthony Kuchar of Montrose, MI, Robert (Jacalyn) Kuchar of Fruitport, MI, Ann (Robert) Murphy of Saginaw, MI, and Deborah Kuchar of Verona, NJ as well as many precious nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Harbor Terrace Senior Living for the wonderful care they provided for Marie during her stay. It is not possible to adequately express our gratitude for the compassion and love they provided us. Also, thank you to the fine staff of Gentiva Hospice who went beyond in their caring support for Marie and her family.
According to Marie’s wishes, there will be no services. There will be a celebration of Marie’s life this fall in the Saginaw area.
