Mrs. Marilyn (Johnson) DeHaan's Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Fay DeHaan of Norton Shores/Grand Rapids, born October 23, 1925, passed from this life to be present with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2016. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R. DeHaan, M.D.; brothers, Ron Johnson and Clark Johnson; and sisters, Claire Wichman and Shirley Cole.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Mark (Deidre) DeHaan M.D., Charles (Mary) DeHaan M.D., Rev. Christopher (Lisa) DeHaan, and Carol Molinari; her grandchildren, Meredith (Wesley) Kent, Marissa (Matthew) McCauley, Rachel (Mark) Carlson, Kristin (Jacob) Ronan, Alyssa (Blake) Moser, Micah, Paige and Marina DeHaan, , Mark, Billy, David and Joy Molinari; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Stratton and Oliver, Kent, Quinn and Emma McCauley and Harper Carlson.
Marilyn’s love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life and was a blessing to all who knew her. Her favorite verse was Isaiah 26:3, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.”
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 8, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Christopher M. DeHaan officiating. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service.
