Mrs. Marilyn Vee Fazakerley's Obituary
Marilyn Vee Fazakerley, age 71, passed away on December 21, 2014. Mari was born on November 14, 1943 to Willard and Etta Bierema. She was an LPN and worked as an administrator at Mercy Hospital until her retirement in 2001. She married Michael Fazakerley in 1976. Together they lived life to the fullest. Mari enjoyed sailing, playing cards, dancing, biking, swimming and traveling. She was a very active individual. Mari was an outgoing, friendly, classy woman with a beautiful smile who will be deeply missed. She is SURVIVED by her husband Michael; children, Shondra (Ken) Primmer, Lesli (Jack) Houghton and Chris (Lori) Baade; step-children, Craig (Margie) Fazakerley and Amy (Scott) Werschem; grandchildren, Korin, Kenny, Kendra, Korey, Jordon, Justine, Amber, Allyssa, Cailey, Lauryn and Zach; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Shari (Bill) Nyeholt; sister-in-laws, Diane Bierema and Pam (Bernie) McKenzie; brother-in-laws Mark (Christine) and David (Cathy) Fazakerley. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Bierema. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 11 A.M. at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Harbor Hospice.
