Marilyn Wayne's Obituary
Marilyn Jean Wayne, age 69, of Ferrysburg passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 6, 2005, at her home. She was born December 27, 1935, to John and Cecelia (Kuna) Piersma in Holland, MI.
Mrs. Wayne had been employed by Kysor-Medallion in the human resources department prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake. Her interests included casinos, golfing, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three daughters, Kimberly (Craig) Maly of Farmington Hills, Kathy Compton of Grand Rapids, Kristen (Bob) White of Kenosha, WI; son Kerry (Diane) Bartrand of Wyoming, MI; nine grandchildren: Lindsey (Nick), Meagan, Karley, Hillary, Chris, Tyler, Jordan, Hollie, and Mallory; nephew John (Sara) Vincent, and niece Jill (Mike Antcliffe) Vincent; and former husband W. Robert Wayne of Norton Shores. Her sister, Sybil Vincent, and her parents preceded her in death.
A funeral liturgy for Marilyn J. Wayne will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake with Rev. Leonard Sudlik officiating. Friends may meet the family 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with a scripture service at 7:45 p.m., Wednesday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
