Grandma, You're so dearly missed! I have so many memories spending time with you...numbering your ceramic paints and helping you pour molds, rolling all of your change, picking mulberries from your tree and having picnics in your yard, planting flowers and picking strawberries for you, Christmas shopping and wrapping all those presents, typing on your typewriter and using your beautician supplies, having you teach me to play the piano/organ, all the times you took me out to lunch and dinner, helping you prepare for your artfairs, all the times you'd let me have a friend come to spend the night with Coke and snacks provided, and the two weeks you came to spend with my family just a few summers ago. I'll treasure those memories! I wish you could be around to see me get a teaching job and see the boys graduate, but I know you're in a better place. We were neighbors of Marion for over fifty years. We have many good memories of her.

Marion played piano at Aron's Restaurant on Hall Road for several years. When we went there to eat she would see us walk in and would immediately start playing a couple of my favorite songs. She didn't need any music books. The music was all in her head. I don't think anyone ever stumped her with a request for a particular song. She seemed to know them all.

She enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. We feed birds too so we were always watching for a different bird to visit our feeders. One year she had a parakeet come to her feeder for a few months. That pleased her.

She taught ceramics for many years. I would go to her house when she wasn't teaching and the two of us would sit and paint and visit. Those were good times.

She always kept an eye on our house as we did hers. If anything looked unusual she would call us.

Marion had many talents. For a number of years she traveled to different stores doing flower arranging. She was a hair dresser for many years.

She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She showed me many pictures of them as they were growing up. These are just a few things we knew about her.

She was a nice lady. She was a good neighbor and friend. We will miss her.##imported-begin##Mary and Darold Whitney##imported-end##

I just wanted you to know that my father Marion (Pat) Luczyk used to play music jobs with your Mom. Her name was brought up many times in our household when I was growing up. He enjoyed her as a fellow musician. My Dad would have been 99 if he was alive today and he was a drummer. Remember the good times!
