Dear Shelly, Dick and Family, How sad to loose your brother at such a young age. This happened to me so I quite understand. I was in Jesus Christ Superstar with Marty many years ago, a nice fellow is what I remember. I even got the pictures out to enjoy. I never had the pleasure of performing with Marty, but got to watch him work many times. He was very talented and quite the character. Prayers and comfort to his family and friends. Deni Hunter
I remember playing in the band. Marty was the leader and he taught me some licks on the drums. Not many of you may know that Marty was an accomplished drummer in our Bunker days. Joe on the keyboards, Jim on the bass and Danny on guitar. We were Quest. We were a craziest bunch of kids on the block. Making noise until the police would shut us down. Those were some great times. Sorry that Marty had to leave so soon. I would have liked to have talked with him one last time. Chris Morency
So sad to hear of Marty's passing. I still have pictures on my phone of him playing at the Mona Lake Boating Club with the Shaggwell's. Lots of good memories when he played with Joe Sruba and the guys back in the day. May he rest in peace and may God give all strength to get through this most difficult time. Dupe will be happy to see him! We will miss him.
