Mr. Martin A. Moblo's Obituary
Mr. Martin Alan Moblo, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, following a courageous battle with kidney disease. He was born on May 28, 1963 to Jack and Vivienne (Wickstrom) Moblo in Muskegon. Marty was a born entertainer. He played in many area bands starting in high school with Quest, followed by many others including Adrion, Bad Oscar, Landing Strip & The Shaggwells to name a few. He did an amazing job in two performances of Jesus Christ Super Star as Judas, as well as many solo performances at area establishments and events. Marty will be deeply missed by his children, Joshua (Jessica) St. Moblo, Julia (Lewis) LaMadline, Samuel and Donovan; grandchildren, Jet and Jude, Drake and Zaine and two baby girls on the way; father, Jack; siblings, Dan (Sue) Moblo, Mark (Helen) Moblo, Michelle (Dick) Lavery, Annette (Louie) Arcioni, John Moblo, Bernadette Ryan and Mary Ann (Donn) Wishka; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Vivienne. We are very grateful for all of Marty's special friends and band mates, and his beloved Carolyn, as well as two amazing mothers, Cheri Black and Sue Chorny. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 5, from 3-6PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd (231) 759-8565.
