I have been thinking about you a lot lately , Mother’s Day is coming up and your birthday has recently passed . In July you will be gone for 5 years and the pain still hurts as if you had passed on today . You weren’t just my mom but my best friend , my confidant in all of my thoughts, dreams , and aspirations! You gave me courage when I was fearful and held my hand and comforted me in times of sadness and celebrated with me in times of great happiness ! You were the best person I have ever known and I miss you more than I can ever express ! I have seen you in my dreams and I’ve also seen grandma Marjorie , I just wish you’d talk to me and let me know you’re alright or that you’re atleast at peace ! Maybe that would help calm my spirits . Maybe give me some type of comfort . But until God calls me home I promise to be the best version of myself and to be a great mother , friend , sister aunt … whatever God put me on earth to be and I promise to make you proud ! I love you and miss you so much !!! Please rest well in eternal peace 🦋

Ohh mom!!! Why I keep asking myself . I cannot express the heartache I’m feeling the confusion I’m feeling , I could go on and on about memories of course but all I have is sadness in my heart and I don’t know how to come back from this. I seen so many of our close friends and family and all I kept saying is she would be so proud and she would have wanted me to console and be strong and do as I did today . For one moment I starred at you and I just knew if you could have spoken you’d tell me “ it’s ok Tima” be strong ok. I know that’s what you’d say to me and as strong as I’d like to be I’m not right now . I just pray to god oh god that you are at peace and when I last seen you , you tried to show off and get up and walk into the bathroom to show me that you were ok , but deep down inside I knew better. But that’s you , very stubborn but so amazing at the same time ! I am so grateful to have had you as my mother and the grandmother of my children I will love you today and tomorrow as if you are still here ! I love you and I pray that you are ok ! I’ll see you when it’s my time and until then watch over me and my children and Bo and his children ! We love you ! I guess I’m the head woman of the family now and so therefore I’ll make sure to make you proud !💔
