Mary was my Girl Scout leader and mentor for 10 years. She taught many about pure love and acceptance of all. Some of my longest held memories include the gigantic snowman we built (with the help of a snow plow), the trip on coach buses to Washington DC where we were able to visit the monuments and some of the Smithsonian Museum, the weekly scout meetings in her living room, and the haunted house party with Bill's Boy Scout troop.
Mary exchanged Christmas cards with me until just a couple years ago. It was always fun sharing our family news and scouting adventures. She really helped to shape my perspective of love and life.
Love and hugs to your family,
